Whitney Sol is an American independent singer, songwriter, and vocal artist based in Seoul, South Korea, whose sound blends the warmth of  R&B and Soul with Jazz Fusion influences, rich vocal arrangements, and expressive storytelling.

Born and raised in Fayette County and Memphis, Tennessee, Whitney carries the musical spirit of the American South wherever she performs. Her artistry is rooted in soulful vocals, emotional honesty, and an ability to create connection through musicwhether performing for an intimate room or stepping onto a larger stage.

Whitney first moved to South Korea in 2014, initially building a life abroad as an educator. After returning to the United States to further her career in education, she came to an important realization: the dream she truly wanted to pursue was music and Seoul was where she wanted to build it.

She returned to South Korea in 2017 and began developing her music career from the ground up. Over the following years, Whitney immersed herself in Seoul's creative community, connecting with musicians, producers, artists, and supporters who helped shape the foundation of what would become Whitney Sol. Pure Gold, Brown Ivory.

Her journey has not been linear. After several years of building, Whitney stepped away to rest, reflect, travel, and reconsider how she wanted to move through the music industry as an independent artist. Time spent abroad, including an extended period in India during the pandemic, gave her space to reconnect with herself and develop a clearer vision for her artistry.

Returning to Seoul in 2023 marked a new chapter.

Today, Whitney Sol is building an independent body of work that brings together her Southern roots, international experiences, soulful vocal style, and passion for community. Her debut single, “Strokin’,” introduces listeners to an artist committed to creating music on her own terms while continuing to evolve her sound and story.

Beyond releasing original music, Whitney's work encompasses live performance, vocal recording, vocal arrangement, and singing workshops. At the center of it all is her belief that music can create spaces where people feel, connect, celebrate, heal, and simply be.

From Tennessee to Seoul and wherever the music takes her next, Whitney Sol is creating a career that reflects the fullness of the life she has lived and the artist she is still becoming.
